John 15: 12-19

  • 12 ) This is my commandment, That all of you love one another, as I have loved you.

  • 13 ) Greater love has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

  • 14 ) All of you are my friends, if all of you do whatsoever I command you.

  • 15 ) Henceforth I call you not servants, for the servant knows not what his lord does: but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

  • 16 ) All of you have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that all of you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever all of you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

  • 17 ) These things I command you, that all of you love one another.

  • 18 ) If the world hate you, all of you know that it hated me before it hated you.

  • 19 ) If all of you were of the world, the world would love his own: but because all of you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

  • 12 ) ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ സ്നേഹിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതുപോലെ നിങ്ങളും തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ സ്നേഹിക്കേണം എന്നാകുന്നു എന്റെ കല്പന.

  • 13 ) സ്നേഹിതന്മാർക്കുവേണ്ടി ജീവനെ കൊടുക്കുന്നതിലും അധികമുള്ള സ്നേഹം ആർക്കും ഇല്ല.

  • 14 ) ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നതു ചെയ്താൽ നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ സ്നേഹിതന്മാർ തന്നേ

  • 15 ) യജമാനൻ ചെയ്യുന്നതു ദാസൻ അറിയായ്കകൊണ്ടു ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ദാസന്മാർ എന്നു ഇനി പറയുന്നില്ല, ഞാൻ എന്റെ പിതാവിനോടു കേട്ടതു എല്ലാം നിങ്ങളോടു അറിയിച്ചതു കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങളെ സ്നേഹിതന്മാർ എന്നു പറഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നു.

  • 16 ) നിങ്ങൾ എന്നെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു എന്നല്ല, ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു, നിങ്ങൾ പോയി ഫലം കായ്ക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു നിങ്ങളുടെ ഫലം നിലനിൽക്കേണ്ടതിന്നും നിങ്ങളേ ആക്കിവെച്ചുമിരിക്കുന്നു, നിങ്ങൾ എന്റെ നാമത്തിൽ പിതാവിനോടു അപേക്ഷിക്കുന്നതൊക്കെയും അവൻ നിങ്ങൾക്കു തരുവാനായിട്ടു തന്നേ.

  • 17 ) നിങ്ങൾ തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ സ്നേഹിക്കേണ്ടതിന്നു ഞാൻ ഇതു നിങ്ങളോടു കല്പിക്കുന്നു.

  • 18 ) ലോകം നിങ്ങളെ പകെക്കുന്നു എങ്കിൽ അതു നിങ്ങൾക്കു മുമ്പെ എന്നെ പകെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു എന്നു അറിവിൻ.

  • 19 ) നിങ്ങൾ ലോകക്കാർ ആയിരുന്നു എങ്കിൽ ലോകം തനിക്കു സ്വന്തമായതിനെ സ്നേഹിക്കുമായിരുന്നു, എന്നാൽ നിങ്ങൾ ലോകക്കാരായിരിക്കാതെ ഞാൻ നിങ്ങളെ ലോകത്തിൽ നിന്നു തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തതുകൊണ്ടു ലോകം നിങ്ങളെ പകെക്കുന്നു.
