2 corinthians 4: 16-18

  • 16 ) For which cause we faint not, but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

  • 17 ) For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory,

  • 18 ) While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

  • 16 ) അതുകൊണ്ടു ഞങ്ങൾ അധൈര്യപ്പെടാതെ ഞങ്ങളുടെ പുറമെയുള്ള മനുഷ്യൻ ക്ഷയിച്ചുപോകുന്നു എങ്കിലും ഞങ്ങളുടെ അകമേയുള്ളവൻ നാൾക്കുനാൾ പുതുക്കം പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു.

  • 17 ) നൊടിനേരത്തേക്കുള്ള ഞങ്ങളുടെ ലഘുവായ കഷ്ടം അത്യന്തം അനവധിയായി തേജസ്സിന്റെ നിത്യഘനം ഞങ്ങൾക്കു കിട്ടുവാൻ ഹേതുവാകുന്നു.

  • 18 ) കാണുന്നതിനെ അല്ല, കാണാത്തതിനെ അത്രേ ഞങ്ങൾ നോക്കിക്കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നു, കാണുന്നതു താൽക്കാലികം, കാണാത്തതോ നിത്യം.
